Gone Playing does not ask you to create an account, and we have no newsletter or email signup. We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.

The only information collected is automatic usage data gathered through cookies and similar technologies — for example the pages you visit, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, and how you arrived at the Site.

We use this information to understand which verdicts and guides people find useful, to fix problems, and to improve the Site. It also lets on-site tools work as expected — for example remembering your choices in Game Finder and your light or dark theme preference.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you follow an affiliate link, Amazon may set its own cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy.

Once implemented, we may also use a privacy-conscious analytics provider to measure aggregate traffic. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of information relating to you, and to object to processing. Since we hold no account data, most requests concern usage data only. Email us and we will help.

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will remove it.

Usage data is retained only as long as it is useful for understanding and improving the Site, and in aggregate form where possible. Cookies expire according to the periods described in our Cookie Policy or when you clear them in your browser.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site grows — for example when analytics are switched on. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
